"Democratic" Party Theme for 2006:
"Everybody stay in their place!
When we die, you can have it all."
Pioneering new ideas of life and society in the 21st-century. Originally conceived as a blog for the Hawaii Republican Party because of its role as the official organized alternative to the dominant Democrat Party, he believes the problems are caused by the partisanship and factionalism -- and the real solution, is an integrated Big Picture of a well-functioning society without such fragmented, divisive thinking. More than anything else, Hawaii is a state of mind in the middle of "Nowhere."

Next thing they'll be doing, is passing a resolution in support of Saddam.
Oh, already been there, done that. What can they think of next?
Who will rise from the ashes of the Hawaii Democratic Party?
For the next generation.
Who will distinguish themselves in the U.S. congressional primary race?
All those people can't be running on the same "Blame Bush, Smear Lingle, Hate Yourself, Trust Us Only" platform.
Somebody has to distinguish themselves from the pack or the debate will go like this:
Candidate 1: "It's Bush's fault."
Candidate 2: "I agree."
Candidate 3: "Me too."
Candidate 4: "I thought of it first."
Candidate 5: "No, you didn't."
Candidates have to be clear that we've entered a new era -- and are no longer looking for "best blamers" to explain why things are going badly again -- and so, surprise!, they need more money.
Very, very, very uninspiring.
Maybe they don't realize that the stakes are high.
The winner could overtake Abercrombie for the next senatorial vacancy.
